It has been proven the indys already left him and many blue dog dems will not vote for him again because of his lies and broken promises.

There is nothing criminal about advocating for the housing, financial, workplace, and voting rights of low- and moderate-income Americans. ACORN played no role at all in bringing about the credit crisis. They do not support illicit sex of any kind. If someone is to go, it ought to be those with so little brain-power as to have believed any of this to begin with.
Why won't ACORN open up it's books for inspection then. They receive government money and as such, the taxpayers should be allowed to see how it's spent. Why are there criminal investigations in two states? Why? If they are so upstanding, they shouldn't have a problem cooperating with authorities. Transparency is golden.
And if you think ACORN had no role in the housing market crash, think again. They are the ones that pushed the Community Reinvestment Act through to pressure banks to lend beneath their standards. They are the ones that lobbied the government to back these subprime loans via Fannie and Freddie when the banks resisted. They had a direct hand in the housing market crash, do some research.
They didn't support illicit sex? What about the (fictional) underage El Salvadorian sex slaves the ACORN worker had no problem listing as dependents for the purposes of helping a prostitution ring pimp get a mortgage. C'mon, I didn't think liberals were that dumb that they actually still support ACORN after the sex scandal tapes hit the waves. Surely, you aren't advocating this behavior, or are you?

Silly boy, I AM an Independent and so are many of my friends, plus there are plenty here, I have not heard ANY say they would prefer a useless Repub over Obama YET. I see you must get your info from rightwing propaganda sites, try expanding your sources to include some less biased sources. The only dream that is over is the one where the right wants to run the show, they had their chance did nothing with it. The left is runnig the show now and if they do do it right do not expect a migration to the right, most people fall in the middle.

CDOs, CDSs and the rest of the capitalist derivative Ponzi schemes would not have been possible without Phil ("The recession is all in your head") and Wendy Gramm and the rest of the corporate wh@res with their deregulation orgies which had a lot more to do with the crash than ACORN.
