Typical. Who is shoving anything down "all viewers' throats". You watch TV, you hear all kinds of views. Some you agree with, some you outright reject, and some you ponder. Nobody is forcing anyone to accept anything. Not only do we still have the right to free speech, we most certainly have the right to free thinking, so let's try to be fair.

Mention Christianity and watch the anti religious crowd go apopleptic. Hume offered sound advice to Tiger to find strength in a higher power. I think he did err in diminishing Buddhism so casually, but I wouldn't put it above Christianity or any other major religion, except maybe islam.
Tiger's a mess and his life is one big upheaval and he has to figure out what's important to him. Anything that helps him find the answers is only good.

We also have control of the remote. Don't like what you hear/see on TV. Change channels. That's what any sensible person would do. Unless you're the owner of the show or station, you don't have to right to dictate what subjects are discussed.

The mere mention of "Christianity" in any positive manner is, to many left wingers, "shoving it down the throat". One CD member posted a complaint several months ago on another thread about Right-To-Live billboards he saw as "shoving Christianity down my throat".
