Yes.. it does as matter of fact...when a former leftwing radical changes his views...it helps to sway others like him to come on our side...You could say its football game...its the fourth quarter...time running out... Liberals are up...but Conservatives are on goal line threating to win the game...

You are wrong. No WAY in HELL are conservatives more tolerant.
Just look at your own posts about gays. Look at what conservatives think about gays and lesbians and women who had abortions. Or some conservatives and their stand on non Christians.
Then tell me who is more tolerant.
But yes, both liberals and conservatives are intolerant.

It's not really that simple Sagran. People leave ideological groups for profound reasons. It's not like changing your underwear.

Overall yes, conservatives are more tolerant. I do agree everyone is probably intolerant of something but that would cover a wide spectrum.
and I agree with you 100%. No one is totally tolerant of everything and everybody but certainly liberals are less than conservatives. Most think, you either think their way or agree with them or you are wrong. Most conservatives I know do understand the other side, they just do not agree.
