We are getting away from the topic no doubt , but , the subject will all come down to money , funding , and unending dialoge...and it all started by donating 10.00 to the Haiti disaster.....stay tuned.
If you have the means, if there is ANY WAY, help the people of Haiti.
Remember Katrina? Our own country and not many people did much.
It was "just" a city. This is a country devistated. They need help.
Don't go to McD's or Burger King for lunch. Think of the lives you could save by sacrificing one cheese burger.
Please, in the Lords name help them.
It's heart wrenching. I donated right away and encourage everybody else to as well. When you see a child getting his leg amputated with a hack saw sterilized with vodka, there are no words....
Me also, the country is noted since the days of Popadoc for being corrupted. It is more likely that some bureaucrat will eat my lunch than the person it was intended for. This is not to mention that there is no shortage of aid it is not getting in to be implemented. Bottlenecking more supplies is not the answer.
Now I will say someone should have lead Pat Robertson off stage and locked him in the Looney bin when he said it was because someone sacrificed a pig on a alter. LOL this guy is the real tragedy, no wait its the people who believe in this crap.

I agree, nothing from me.
Let's be Americans and take care of our own for a while. Besides, whenever we went to take care of someone else we were always slapped for it later. Maybe it is time to learn the lesson the third world has been screaming at us for the last 40 years.

Actually , per capita , we give far less than other Countries. Check it out.

This is true.
All industrialized ("Rich") countries agreed to give a certain percentage of GDP, with that standard we rank among the lowest. However with raw dollars we are near the top.
