Well, didn't Frau Palin say that the war was God's plan? These pseudo religious fanatics belong isolated somewhere, away from civilized and intelligent beings. What would these idiots do if they did not have their hypocrisies and religion to manipulate gullible people with?

(Jesus as) "the light of the world."
"Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Those were the Bible verses if you looked them up.
Hardly threatening or violent. If anything, they are uplifting and hopeful.

We don't need your anti-Christian views, intolerance and fear-mongering here.
You're absolutely right. I get extrememly tired of the Christian bashing that goes on here on C-D forum. It's uncalled for, and is hateful.

There are certain people here (they know who they are) that will take a whack at Christianity every chance they get, blaming Christians for virtually everything they think that is wrong with America.

Yet Christians founded America! Gee. How does that work?

These same people also attack Jews via Israel but always seem to want to defend Islam. Go figure. Oh how dare a private company put an initial and number on the product they product. Oh the horror that the initial and number represents something from the Christian Bible. How dare this private company do this! US Military also has chaplins that are receiving a govenment paycheck. HOW DARE THEY! The US Military even holds religious services. OH THE HORROR!

Get over your hatred for religion. You people say you're open minded and yet that seems to stop where religion is concerned. Karl Marx and Lenin would be proud of you.

It's always amazing when the teaching of the Bible conflict with some one's personal held view, such as Jesus teaching love and gun lovers wanting to go out and shoot things, that the persons personal views always win. Isn't is some sort of rule that thou shalt not follow only the rules that doesn't interfere with one's personal views?

We are defending America, not going to war in the name of Jesus.
LOL! Well, I can tell you know nothing about the Bible or what it says about war and battle.

You probably don't even realize that during the revolutionary war, our leaders prayed to God for guidance and success. They depended heavily on Almighty God in everything they did.

You non believers automatically assume that God is against war. But God sent his people into battle time and time again. And he protected them from their enemies.

So, statements such as yours above are just laughable.

LOL your anger is misplaced. It's a privately owned company that embeds the verse number into their serial number used on their sights. The government buys these sights from this PRIVATELY owned company.

It really doesn't take much to get the (christian hating faction) libs' panties in a wad.

A privately owned company can put whatever serial number on their products they want. It's up to their buyers to determine if it is acceptable or not. Nobody is forcing the government to buy these sights. They have been doing this for years BTW.

Christians lie for Jesus so why not kill for Jesus too!

I get that this is a privately-owned company. However, I would not support this private company putting islamic / hindu / buddhist / agnostic / atheist BS in thier products either since they are being purchased by PUBLIC funds which come from taxpayers of all backgrounds. Also refer to earlier discussion about how this crusade-like behavior will be used as a recruiting tool for terrorists. This is not anti-christian, it is pro-US constitution, which is not theocratic. We all should be proud of that. Like it or not, the US constitution is more important than any religion.

Ok, then lobby the federal government and buyers of military products and ask that they not purchase items with biblical references on them. If there is enough of an outcry, the government will find a different supplier for their gun sights, or force the company to change their serial number coding.

I think this case more of an aberration than a norm. I am sure they will fix it.
