The bill was ordered to be reported favorably. The R's did not have a supermajority in the Senate to override the Dems' opposition and so could not meet cloture requirements. The bill, therefore, was never called for a vote in the Senate. What about that do you not understand?
OK lets break down the legislative process. A bill may be introduced by either house but passed by BOTH houses. If it is clear the Senate will filibuster the bill there is no point introducing it. If however the Republicans had a filibuster proof majority you would be right, however they did not.

Funny part of this thread is that in the face of undeniable evidence, you still lack the ability to admit to the truth. You post a link to the summary of the bill which clearly states it was sponsored and co-sponsored by REPUBLICANS. You tell ME why it wasn't passed.

The fascinating think about debating with these people is they ask you to prove an assertion as if you assertion is so outrageous as to be untrue. When proven true they don't change their minds. They continue to try to defend indefensible positions. We have seen it so clearly in this thread. In the face of clear evidence one poster continues to deny it is true. It is almost pathological.
I don't think you understand how bills work... who do you think killed the bill in the committee?
