BBC NEWS | Programmes | Newsnight | Secret US plans for Iraq's oil

Anyone still want to defend the war? I would guess some will.

Of Course, the Army started moving Brigades through the NTC at Ft Irwin in the mid 1980's. They weren't training for a Soviet attack there.

News flash Sherlock Homes.. The US has plans to probably invade every country on the planet.. it is the job of the Pentagon to plan for such actions in the event they are needed.

Oh now they argue this is old news.

Can't we just let it go that 4000 Soldiers got killled for no good reason and over one Trillion Dollars went up in smoke, and our standing among other Nations is in the gutter.

They start threads talking now about Michelle Obama lying about growing sweet potatoes.

Are you telling me this is new news to you? If you are 6 years behind the rest of the crowd in regards to news, this would explain so very much...

$1T sounds like pocket change in comparison to what this administration spends.

Fear not young padawan, all those other nations got the memo that we now have a new guy in office... apologist in chief. He will stop at nothing to suck up to all our enemies and make nice. It's working out real well so far.

Ummm, I think you are missing something.

The United States gov't has war plans for all potential adversaries (and allies I believe too). Having a game plan for Iraq shouldn't be a surprise. Especially considering he was in numereous UN Resolution violations, had broken the peace agreement and was still running his mouth saber rattling.

Saddam deserved to be killed. His sons and cousin too. The Middle East and world, are a better place. Alaikum salam.
