Leftist thinking has killed millions of men women and children and untold amounts of suffering. I think the world would have been a much better place without it.
So which party did B.O.'s predecessor belonged to now that got us into this mess in the first place?

I'm sorry but Communist governments have killed more people then any War in the history of the human race, and not just one war either you have to combine them to even match how many have been killed by leftest thinking, and again this does not include the untold suffering like forced sterilizations (that is still happening to this day in China)
There are even some people who still say how great and wonderful communism and socialism is today and those people stand shoulder to shoulder with you.
Politicians only get away with what they do because the people let them. If this country was full of men and women who read the constitution understood it and read it for what it does say rather then for what it can, and followed more closely what the founding fathers had laid down for us Iraq never would have happened.
You can blame Bush all you like but the buck stops with the people.

So you've parlayed a capitalistic, slightly left-leaning(for recent American standards; Obama is extremely economically conservative as per most Westernized Capitalistic economies) moderate as being roughly equivalent to a "leftist," which is to encompass sociopathic communist rulers 50-some odd years dead? Is that the logistical path we just took?

secession? that is a state decision and not a federal one. remember that the civil war was about state rights, and that the legal decision of secession was never decided upon by the supreme court, it was decided on by military war.
impeached? he has not done any misdemeanors or felonies yet as far as I know, so that wont happen yet.
