Treasury Dept: Expect to hit recently increased debt ceiling by the end of FEBRUARY! Yes, that would be 25 days from now.

Good going Obama and Congress! The epitome of RECORD SPENDING UNDER THE DEMOCRATS. And maybe a 'record' in and of itself....?

I worry for our financial future, inflation and my children's future. How much will a gallon of milk cost in 10 months?

Hopefully the Obama-backers on here have lots of $$$ for what's to come.
Cuz it's comin......

And yet we have a commander in chief who lectures the taxpayers on spending habits.

Where is the outrage for his peers?

Kinda depends on where you look, but it's already here.......

I've definatly noticed it in the cost of certain food products I buy.

Right now I'm in a state of shock.....went to buy some hose clamps for a small project here at home. A total of 11 (eleven) clamps cost me just under $30.00

I remember buying hose clamps for $.40-.60 in the not to distant past.

Yachtcare must raise his prices to his customers.......(the few that are left)

I heard they added $100 billion to the deficit in Dec alone, at least when a drunken sailor is spending his money he is not reaching into my pocket and spending my money too.

At this point I wish our federal budget spending was at the level of FDR, he only spent 7-12% of GDP, and he did not have $107 trillion in unfunded liabilities.

President Franklin Roosevelt

1934 - 10.7
1935 - 9.2
1936 - 10.5
1937 - 8.6
1938 - 7.7
1939 - 10.3
1940 - 9.8
1941 - 12.0

President Barack Obama

2010 - 25.4
2011 - 25.1

It's truly frightening considering by the end of this year we will be paying $200 billion in interest payments alone. That's money that could have gone to help pay for HCR.
