Here is an exchange between President Obama and sour grapes McCain. McCain and the Republicans should be thankful that this president is even given them any consideration after Republicans showed the world that they are clueless most recently during the 8 Bush years.
In this exchange, another obvious advantage for PRESIDENT OBAMA and what he represents.
I guess we have to chalk that up to "it's all in the eye's of the beholder" and leave it there.
It's my opinion that Obama came off as a real ass during that exchange exerting his "Ha, I won and you didn't so shut up" arrogant attitude.
McCain rightly called him out on not allowing this process to be transparent despite Obama's campaign rhetoric and all Obama could say in return was that the election is over? Then he changes the subject saying basically that there is no need to debate the process (read lack of transparency) and we should focus on the product. Mhmm, ok except that the people don't like the product that was a direct result of the process.
Your post ignores the fact that if Obama was as advanced as you claim there would have been no need for a sit-down with Republicans in the first place.
Verbal sparring with the GOP aside, Obama has been a failure at rallying American support for his agenda.

For a man whose never run a lemonade stand much less a full on business, I doubt if Obama can hold a candle to most Republicans who know the acumen of business, money and markets.

Though I'm not a fan of McCain, did you hear McCain's response when Obama said the campaign is over? McCain said something like "yes, you remind me of that everyday". Brilliant response. I didn't know McCain had that kind of subtle cattiness in him. He so owned Obama with that one comment.
