Don't forget the masses of people escaping hard hit regions flooding into already over populated areas. Depletion of resources does not strike a chord because, again, they do not believe in science nor do the have foresight. The grandkids will be fighting wars for clean water, not oil.

This is frustrating because you take an isolated incident largely taken out of context and you presume that the whole of the scientific community is using erroneous data to come to their conclusions. Was it embarrassing? Yeah, it was embarrassing. Did it falsify the whole of global warming/climate change science? Not even close.
In fact, many of the e-mails in question were over ten years old - a significant time frame considering the plethora of empirical findings that have amounted since then.
What the past few months have done to the scientific community, has been to cast a cloud of cloud of distrust, and doubt over the entire science behind the theory of man-made global warming. People will doubt the science behind the man-made global warming movement because it has been shown to have been corrupted by personal, political and ideological agendas.
First you enjoy the warmth. Then the droughts and floods and rising tides and stronger storms start to concern you. Then the arid patches become windswept deserts, and the tropical climates bring with them non stop torrential rains, floods, hurricanes, landslides. Then flames. Then you say "Why didnt somebody DO something?"
Maybe it will be a granddaughter or grandson asking you why you sold them out. Maybe you wont be around to answer that question for them. But they shouldnt have to inherit an earth that you helped to trash and then denied you had any role in doing so.
Thats at the heart of the denial of climate change
What about all the snow and ice pushing everyone south? That is the outcome of global cooling. And ther is a good argument for that to be going on write now
So what will it be global worming or global cooling?
That is what scares these mental morons, the fact that they earth will do what it wants and really does not give a *&^# what they care or do to stop it. Pure enjoyment to watch them scurry about, ranting and raving that the sky is falling.
The fact is, the AGCC movement is just a scheme to take away rights granted by our creator, and its proponents are Luddites and statists. Now they call liberty, responsible for more good than ever in the history of the world, selfishness. Because they want the state running and dictating, that is their religion.
They laugh now at people who thought the world was flat, now we're starting to laugh at people who believe in man made global warming.
'Trying to do something even if it doesn't do anything' is the global warmers new battle cry. Finding new industries even if it means getting rid of existing ones.
Hopefully real scientists will study this methane and come to real factual conclusions without the political partisanship based on getting government grants to say whatever.
You are correct. We earthlings are incredibly stupid. First we populate Mars, industrialize it, and with internal combustion engines (and fart from cows and ourselves)... we send the whole planet into a global warming spin. Then we evacuate Mars and do the same to earth
