Provide 1 link or 1 quote of the "bill" that supports your position.
While it's (slightly) admirable that you can cite, word-for-word, the party line, your arguments would carry alot more weight if you had something of substance to back up your claims.
Which, come to think of it, is probably why this monstrosity couldn't get passed a year ago when they had a super-majority in both houses.

It didn't get passed because of the lobbying against the National public option which government employees and the military have enjoyed all these years... They don't want anybody else to have what they have.

That's impossible because Bam-Bam promised me there'd be no lobbyists on the Hill.
There are three elements to the health care system - the user of the service, the insurance company and the provider of the service. They are lined up in a row. From the user's point of view, all he can see is the insurance company. The provider is hiding behind the insurance company. Remove the insurance company and now the user can clearly see the provider. Now we can see who the real villain is. Remove the insurance company, make it illegal to provide any type of health insurance, and focus on the real villain. Why are the providers charging so much for their service? They have been hiding behind the iinsurance companies for years. No one could see what they were doing. Nurses say they are doing the work of doctors. I would say they are doing the work of a motel maid. But, they will say, we went to school. So what? If you're doing the work of a maid, you should be paid, let's say, $20/hr. But then they will say, we will quit. I will say, 'bye, bye', 'Saves me the effort of firing you.' There are plenty of unemployed people out there who would be happy to take your position. How about the drug companies? If they continue to charge what they do, no one will be able to buy their product, so they will drop their prices. Besides people should be more sceptical. They advertise this drug will do great things. It may also cause high blood pressure, heart attacks, stroke, death. So why does the FDA approve these drugs? Who is looking out for you? And then you have to say, 'no more unions'. Unions can not be allowed. The idea that people can go on strike when people's lives are at stake, taking advantage of the situation where people need help - that's pretty pathetic. No. No more unions in the health care system. Now there are two kinds of doctors - family doctors and emergency room doctors. How about a fee for service system when you want to see a family doctor for a checkup or a prescription. You call up your doctor, ask what he charges for his service, and then pay for the service (sort of like getting your car serviced, I guess. You pay cash) Prices would be falling all over the place. The main thing I wanted to say is if you remove the insurance companies and stop thinking in terms of insurance, then you will be able to focus on the providers who are overcharging you. And don't get me started on R&D. People have been collecting money for research for decades. What an idea - that throwing money at the research industry will make them find a cure for cancer for instance. There are no genius's out there. There is no Edison, no Ford, no Alexander Graham Bell, no Einstein in the bunch. Jerry Lewis is still asking for money. Why? Not enough time? Is the lack of money the problem? No. The problem is people have way too much faith in money (and science).
Who do you know that would take a job with no benefits and no Health Insurance?
