I have to say- 3 CHEERS for the SEICU leader!!! It is time that not only him but ALL unions and other organizations that are supposed to be on the side of working people tell the Democrats that our support is no longer to be taken for granted and that we will not only pull our support from them but field primary challengers and even third party candidates against them EVEN if it means losing the seat to a Republican. Because if you are going to ACT like a Republican, we might as well HAVE a Republican!

Ezra Klein - Hardball time on health-care reform

I see Mr Stupak is already getting his. An Ethics investigation, an IRS Audit and a Democrat running for his seat.

The SEIU is NOT on the side of working people, they are on the side of illegal immigrant workers while millions of Americans are out of work.

He is a goner too if he walks on the working people. We are making our list, checking it twice to see who is naughty and who is nice to the working people. I just wish my union, the CWA, would stand up too. I am tired of giving money to Democrats, voting for Democrats, phone banking for Democrats, canvassing for Democrats and then getting SCREWED by Democrats. Nice to see others feel the same way. While health care is not our ONLY issue it will be seen as a crucial test as to who is with us and who is against us.
And Stupak already knows that NO federal money is going to spent for abortion. He has dropped that red herring into this because he thinks he can use it as a poison pill to be against it without really "being against it". He voted for it before he voted against it. Stupak is as Stupak does I guess.

The threats from the Left are inconsequential when it comes to Blue Dog dems in moderate or conservative districts. It is the conservatives they need to worry about.

Right now there are plenty of out of work non-union US citizens that will gladly fill the jobs of former union shops. I say let the SEIU affiliated unions strike. Soon we'll see the similar rioting in the streets by unions as in Greece.

The SEIU is filled with thugs who don't support American workers.
