Whenever we do anything "group" there are going to be issues. But only if we let there be. Right now if you buy insurance from your employer or on your own there is a good chance that that company covers abortion services for some of it's members. Right now if you go to an OB/GYN there is a good chance they have been involved with abortion services. Right now if you go to a hospital there is a good chance an abortion has been provided there. All these things happen every day, business and corporations making money AND abortion services being provided. The whole health care/abortion issue is a smoke screen and something only the really gullible actually believe is a "real" issue.
Unless each person was completely independent from society there is a good change something they do is somehow going to "pay for" someone else to do something they don't approve of. And if it wasn't abortion it would be something else. That's a fact.

Personally, I don't mind helping pay for abortions for women who want them. I do donate to PP (although, I donate mostly because I want them to have more of an outreach for awareness and women's health) and I have been an escort for women when they were trying to get into the clinic.
I'm sure I pay for a lot of things I may not agree with, but that's part of being in a society of people.
I have to wonder why people who are pro-choice/pro-abortion and rant on about keeping the government out of their bodies aren't more upset about the government being about to dictate every aspect of their health via socalized medicine.
Not really, because I don't believe that the Government will be dictating every aspect of my health via socialized medicine. I suggest you research the health bill a bit more before making such claims.
My insurance company is currently doing that though. And I have the "good" insurance.
It's sad that you get your kicks on being a sanctimonius scold rather than take concrete steps to lower the abortion rate.
1) Like help establish universal health care.
2) School administered sex eduction.
3) Easy access to birth control for teenagers.
The Christian right stands against all these meaningful ways to really lower the abortion rate.

Agree! Additionally if they truely cared for the babies, they'd line up at child welfare and protection services across the nation to demand access to children on the adoption dole. No access to abortion? Then you need to step up as the individual purporting this and adopt these unwanted children.
Believe it or not, I believe in birth control and sex ed. I just don't see what makes it ok to kill an innocent baby, other than a teen who got raped, whose body can't support a baby. Adoption would be a great alternative, for any other cases of not wanting to keep the baby.
Oh yeah because adoption works. Tell that to the scores of kids living in the system until they are turn out at 18. Oh yeah, nice choice there. I get to live in a group home until 18, and then guess what. Its a clap on your back and a "good luck"! Adoption is not the answer. It is obvious that the adoption system is overtaxed as it exists. Remove the option for abortion and the Child Protective Services sector will crumble.

How selfish it is that women can abort a child wanted by a man, or force a man to pay for a child for 18 years when the man wants nothing to do with the child.
Men and women should share the potential consequences, and right now it's the woman making 100% of the decision while the man has to live with whatever.

keep your legs closed if u yourself cant handle the ability God gave you to create a child inside of u..women are lucky in that aspect...they have an ability to say when and who they want to open thier legs for to become tha father of their child..Men dont have that ability so a woman should be more responsible knowing how her biology works...no one is saying that there aren't duesch bag dead beat dads out here...im saying a woman has control of her body and should know what her body is capable of....I mean what else do women want...they want freedom to abort their child...they want equal rights...while at the same time expecting the man to provide or at least have the ability to provide...they want to make fun of guys in the media all the time...they want to go to bars and get "free" drinks just for being a woman...they want extra attention compared to their brother growing up because their parents dont want daddy's girl to be corrupted by society...i can go on about what women want...as a movie with the same name has already been released,....what about a movie about what men want......yeah there are dogs out there ...and alot of dogs as far as men goes but we are expected to do everything and get the blame for everything that goes wrong...let your kid live women..dont kill em because you grew up in a society like the one i just mentioned in my run-on sentence...be a man...or actually 'be a woman' in your cases

keeping your legs closed is one of the lamest statements people use about cutting down abortion. it is hardly that simple. you really think irresponsible people are going to suddenly become responsible and keep their legs closed? the prostitute and the drug addicted? the runaway trying to survive on the streets? or do they not count?
