Monday in Strongsville, Ohio, President Obama said that ObamaCare will reduce health insurance premiums by "3,000 percent." Considering that a 50 percent decrease in premiums would mean that we'd be paying half as much as we now pay for health insurance and that a 100 percent decrease in premiums would mean that we'd be paying nothing for health insurance, President Obama is telling us that insurance companies will actually start paying us money to keep our health insurance.
American Thinker Blog: Obama: You will see 'premiums fall by as much as 3,000 percent' under Obamacare

This is another pathetic attempt at making something out of nothing.

The President talks a lot - a whole lot. And out of those hundreds and hundreds of hours of talking, he's misspoken a couple of times.

He said "50" instead "40" once last year, and people still think that means something.

And he said "percent" instead of "dollars" yesterday.

Is that hard to figure out? Have you ever misspoken, or been to a preso where someone misspoke? You figure out what the speaker meant and move on. A mistake like this says nothing about the intelligence or knowledge of the speaker. It does say something about a listener's ability to comprehend, however.

Exactly. The Neolibs (hey why should they be the only ones who can come up with cutesy nicknames?) would rip GW for his speech goofs all the time. And rightfully so, the guy was a goof of a speaker. But Obamessiah says something that most 8 yr olds would've realized is stupid and you're supposed to look the other way.

All hail the double standard!!

This was 0bama showing us how intelligent he is... again. This takes me back to that thread that was asking if 0bama was stupid, or he just had stupid advisers telling him what to say.

BTW, this is much more moronic then Qualye spelling the word "potato" wrong, but I'm positive the left wing still skewer Quayle for his misspelling and give 0bama a pass, even though Quayle was not on the road campaigning for a trillion dollar, transformational, 2,300 page piece of legislation.
