You've never met a PhD working at CBO. You haven't the first idea of what any of their ideologies might be like. You've apparently never worked either within a non-partisan environment where the slightest hint or whiff of an ideological tinge is simply not tolerated. But feel free to prattle on. It's a free country after all...

I dunno, there hasn't been a super liberal in the executive office for several decades. There have been centrists and dudes on the right, I could definitely name a few of those.

I believe you're talking about Clinton.

No need to. Their work is public record, and their conclusions are consistently wrong. Not to mention they are government employees, so standards such as accuracy, efficiency, and truthfulness do not apply.

This is happening for both sides...when Dem. ask a partisan question they will get the numbers that they like. When Rep. ask a partisan question they will get the same nice answer that will help them...

But what about what is really important for the whole nation in the long run.

The Dem. got their partisan CBO numbers last week which caused the health care bill to be signed...nice for them but the country will loose out in the long run and to me it is very bad for both sides if the people who work in Washington for us are just listening to the numbers they like.

garbage in - garbage out.

The dems gave the CBO cooked numbers and impossible presumptions to make this appear "budget neutral"

Any fool knows that adding 30-40 million new patients will cost between $1.3 to upwards of $ 3 trillion per year.

Now to all of you so giddy about this, do you realize the damage that this will do to our economy and the lives of our children? How can one be happy about this irresponsible fiscal insanity?
