I am a registered independent so I have my own viewpoint on party Republicans. But I am interested to hear from the real liberals out there, where their hatred of Republicans originates from..is it recent events, past, or pure ideological differences, and please be specific.

Hatred? I don't think this question is worded correctly.

I think your question should be directed at the Republicans, apparently losing the election somehow destroyed democracy

Exactly right, why hate. I don't hate Republicans and I don't think a majority of Liberals do either. It is hard, however, not to be supremely frustrated with the stubborn refusal of many party Republicans not to see the humanitarian angle in an issue.

Interpret the word hate as you wish..if you don't hate then use dislike, or would rather see them go away..or whatever you feel..instead of focusing on analyzing and criticizing..how about answering

As a registered Independent, I find the word "hatred" more than just a bit melodramatic, and aimed at the wrong group...why not ask everyone?

Admit it, this is not terribly 'independent' of you.

That's an honest and thoughtful answer...although I wouldn't make any assumptions about what the majority of any group feels

I think it stems from ignorance and the will to play the "victim" in every matter.
