The contrived handiwork of someone who hates conservatives and Republicans and posted by someone not afraid to admit their intense "dislike" (read "hate") of Republicans. A tip of the hat for your honesty.....
Hate is the right word for some things, like their hatred for Christians, Palin, Bush, Limbaugh, the Tea Party, Beck, FOX News, conservatives, traditional values, American values and so on. We see the hate here every day from left wingers. I wouldn't wait around for any honest response.
See, this is why we won't ever get along. Do you have any idea how many Liberal (Democrat) Christians there are??? Do you think Christianity is the exclusive province of Conservative Republicans. Tell me, why should Liberal Democrats have any affinity for Palin, Bush, Limba (gag)... ... do you think honesty and the ability to form an opinon about the rightness of a particular action are the sole province of Conservatives? The Catholic Church knew the world was flat. If Liberal thinkers did not oppose this, tremulously at first but evermore stridently as the body of empirical evidence mounted up, where would we be? One day the knowledge will be ours on how to keep our population from exceeding the carrying capacity of the planet. Until then, abortion is functioning in much the way that private ip addressing keeps us from facing the fact that the initial crafters of the Internet were woefully shortsighted in thinking that 4 billion unique IP addresses would be enough. Conservative thinking is rarely defensible except by Conservatives themselves. That they are tolerated should be enough. To expect the country or the world to run on Conservative values... frustrating, very frustrating.
Wow..so is this from personal experience that has caused you to form this opinion about the majority of Republicans..I mean I don't know alot of Republicans but the ones I met never even mentioned Jesus unless they dropped something on their foot...
Republicans do not represent real America. They represent big buisness and the extremely wealthy and the lunatic frindges of our society.
There is nothing mainstream about them
I'm not saying the Dems do a better job. But their platform is more in line with most working class Americans, students, minorities, women.
Many liberals see the Republican party wanting to set this nation back 50+ years...that to them the year is still 1952, Eisenhower's back from Euorpe and Elizabeth II was just crowned.
America's moving forward, and some people will be left behind. Those are the people who will cause trouble in the future.
I definitely don't hate anyone based on their political affiliation, that would be silly.
I do hold some conservative thoughts, as well as liberal thoughts and like to talk with people who may have differing views so that I can better flesh out my opinions. It's the ones who say '*******s' and 'You're un-American because you're not a CHRISTIAAAAAN' and pepper in seemingly passive aggressive insults in their arguments (hussein obama anyone??) that bother me a bit.
I get along fine with most Republicans, hell, my boss and my father are both Repubs and I get along swimmingly with both of them
I am a registered independent so I have my own viewpoint on party Republicans. But I am interested to hear from the real liberals out there, where their hatred of Republicans originates from..is it recent events, past, or pure ideological differences, and please be specific.
