First thing I have to say: the guy's scum and I hope the CIA off's him in the most painful way possible.

Second thing: where is the liberal indignation? The cries of abuse of power? The demand for impeachment? If Bush had done this they would be spewing blood out of their noses. For the first time in our nation's history a president has authorized the assassination of an American. The silence from the left on this issue is deafening.

Yeah it's pretty silent in here...I'm sure that someone will come along, and try to post a very intellectual sounding defense for this as they always do here on "I'm better than you data ..aka city-data"..lol...but, if this guy deserves to be assasinated in Obama's eyes for being accused of terrorism then Obama might as well start a long hit list because people get terrorized everyday when gangs have drive-by shootings and strong arm robberies are going on all the time here...Why are we so worried about someone who was accused of something instead of people out here that are everyday actually doing something like killing and selling drugs to kids?

Oh my. Can you just imagine if Bush had given the go ahead for this? The outrage and frothing would be something to behold.

I don't condone killing, however, I am not naive enough to believe that this is the 'first time.'

The first time we know about it, maybe, but, not the first time.

There were many people, my grandmother included, who believed that Jack Ruby was contracted to kill Lee Harvey Oswald. And the list of other possible 'hits' is quite long if some folks are to be believed.

Again, I don't condone it, but, we are at war, right?

You make assertions which are only figment of your feverish partisan imagination.

As a liberal, I am no more outraged, strike that, I am no more concerned about targeted killing of American terrorist operating in areas where they can not be apprehended and brought to justice than I would be by a SWAT team killing a sniper, bomb maker, or kidnapper on an American street. I frankly see no difference.

What's funny is the ignorance that Bush did authorize this. He also authorized the detention and illegal monitoring and spying on the countries own citizens w/out the due process of law.

funny, the silence and lack of indignation of that. At least Obama had the balls to make it public knowledge and go through the proper channels and review of the topic by actual deputies and intel., not some 4th or 5th chair fresh out who has ranting opinions.
