Jon Stewart took on one of his favorite targets last night, mocking Fox News for blatant inaccuracies in their coverage of Obama's nuclear arms treaty with Russia. As he pointed out, the treaty in question has many stipulations, notably that it does not eliminate all nuclear weapons (just reduces by a third) and does not render us defenseless, as adjustments can be made that would allow the U.S. to retaliate if necessary.
Anyone with a half a brain would know that the world will never eliminate all nuclear weapons. This is coming from someone who detests all nuclear weapons and would love to see the complete elimination of them all. I can dream can't I? The treaty was an attempt to decrease the number. A question to nuke fans, why do we need capability to blow up the world 30 times? I mean we only have one world, after one time there will be nothing left, the rest is overkill don't ya think? It reminds me of a friend I have who is a gun enthusiasts. He lives alone and had like 6 guns. I asked him why he needed 6, he replied "to defend myself" I told him, "But you only have two hands, why not just stock up on bullets" He looked at me puzzled.

The reason the Lords of the Lemmings are foaming is that a (D) signed a treaty. President Ronald Wilson Reagan wanted the same percentage of nukes eliminated.

It sure would be nice if the right could quit lying for a change and argue with some integrity. All these guys ever do is lie through their teeth though.
Name one thing that wasn't accurate about what Stewart pointed out last night.... Fox lied their asses off and were caught on it.
In the world of news and political commentary being caught by Comedy Central is like being caught by boy scouts and that is, what, the second or third time?

You mean ever? Stewart and his team catch their lies and hypocrisy over and over and over again. Literally hundreds of times.
If this is only the second or third time you've noticed, you must've only been keeping track since Wednesday.
Actually, I don't get much opportunity to watch the TV I would like. I work a split shift, it's ruff.
Ouch, been there, done that. Also, double-shifted a couple of times. After a while you become like the walking dead. I fell asleep at the dinner table once. It really pissed the family off.
