Now, is this some RW lunatic with such harsh criticism of obama and his poisonous behavior towards Israel? Why...no.

Schumer: Obama's 'counter-productive' Israel policy 'has to stop' - Ben Smith - POLITICO.com

Quote:
New York Senator Chuck Schumer harshly criticized the Obama Administration's attempts to exert pressure on Israel today, making him the highest-ranking Democrat to object to Obama's policies in such blunt terms.

But Schumer dramatically sharpened his tone on the politically conservative Jewish Nachum Segal Show today, calling the White House stance to date "counter-productive" and describing his own threat to "blast" the Administration had the State Department not backed down from its "terrible" tough talk toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"This has to stop," he said of the administration's policy of publicly pressuring Israel to end construction in Jerusalem.
I guess even Chuck realizes obama's behavior towards Israel is enabling her enemies - maybe that is the plan all along though.

CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - Poll: Obama gets thumbs down on Israel « - Blogs from CNN.com

Even the Jews in this country, who overwhelmingly voted for obama () are waking up to the FACT that he is NO friend to Israel, as well as the public in general.

Quote:
A Quinnipiac University survey released Thursday morning indicates that 35 percent of the public gives the president a thumbs up on how he's dealing with the situation between Israel and the Palestinians, with 44 percent saying they disapprove, and just over one in five unsure.

According to the poll, two-thirds of Jewish voters disapprove of how the president's handling Israeli-Palestinian relations, with 28 percent saying they approve.

by a 42 percent to 34 percent margin, voters say Obama's not a strong supporter of Israel.
Were these people deaf, dumb and blind during the campaign? All one needed to do was LOOK at the people this radical was surrounded by.

Does Barack Obama even realize that he is offending so many constituencies at once?

Bill Clinton was derided for paying too much attention to the polls. Most critics contended that Clinton could have benefited from sticking his head in the sand for a while so as to stop screwing himself. I'd reconcile that Barack Obama hasn't brought his head above the water table since January 20, 2009.

No, not unless someone puts it on his teleprompter to read. He is clueless in DC.

Our policy toward Israel should be "Shut up and quit whining. Dont look at us for money, we're broke. We don't care what happens to you."

Screw Israel. And before I get hammered, screw Palestine too.

WHY should we be protecting Israel as much as we are?

I give you props because you stand up and say what you think without regard for what others think. Do you support Ron Paul?

Ron Paul is possibly one of the few conservatives I would vote for.

I *like* Schumer but he is obviously biased. Obama's Israel policy is a refreshing break from the Bush Administrations, "ya we kinda support a two state solution but go ahead and settle in the West Bank anyway" policy. The US badly needed to take a harsher stance on this, or it'll never happen.
