I remember many Democrats (Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, etc) saying the exact same thing.
Also, Bush mentioning liberating Iraq more often than he mentioned WMD.
The Democrats have brainwashed everybody into believing that hiking tax rates is guaranteed to result in increases in federal & state tax revenues, which is a total crock, as the balance sheets of numerous states where they've been in charge for decades convincingly prove.
So-called 'millionaires taxes' repeatedly result in megacolossal drops in the revenues of states which have the audacity to enact them.
