Navajo Nation – The Navajo, Hopi, all Apache Nations and all other Native Americans who presently reside in Arizona have joined forces in an effort to show the haughty Arizona residents just exactly who has every right to be in that State.
Said Chief Standing Wolf, “it is not those of European decent who should be making the laws of this state, but we, the tribal people, who have been suppressed for too long. Our ancestors have been here for thousands of years, while the white man only came a few hundred years ago. Yet, it is the white man who wants to make ridiculous laws and keep everything lily white. We can no longer stand by and let this happen.”
Short of declaring war on the Arizona government, Chief Standing Wolf instead issued a warning “reverse your laws entitling only English-speaking people to inhabit Arizona. Only then will we back down and allow peace to again grace Arizona, but if you deny our fellow red and brown men their rightful place in this state, there will be bloodshed.”
Of course, Chief Standing Wolf was speaking in his native tongue, so the lawmakers in the State weren’t exactly sure what the message was.

I wouldn't blame them a bit. There is a reason these people are called Native Americans... this was ALL their land. We are only here because our ancestors took everything from them. Brutally. So what's to say for a government that takes away from it's own people, as well as others. Not much.

FYI: the so-called 'Native Americans' came from someplace else (Asia) so all people here are of 'immigrant' stock.
Besides: where is the rage against the Comanche, Apache, etc. when those groups beat up weaker tribes prior to the White man?
Really; does it matter what happened long before any American alive today was born outside of historical context?
Needless to say: us Americans ain't gonna go anywhere.

Great satire, but it would be interesting if it were true.

Nice try. Nevermind that this is obviously not legit. The Indians had no lasting accomplishments here before the white man came along. None. Zero. They're enjoying a pretty good ride now, though. Of course, nobody is keeping YOU or your overwhelming feelings of guilt here. You can leave anytime.
You might want to check with the Salt River/Pima tribe who just opened up a brand new resort and casino called Talking Stick on their Rez. It's right off the 101 in Scottsdale. Big tall building. Can't miss it. And they're building a fabulous new baseball spring training facility. Plus the corporate headquarters for Cold Stone ice cream is on their land.
I'm kinda thinking they might have a problem with you chasing away all that lovely income they get from the non-natives.
Please, "Native Americans", tell us who "those who came before" were? What happened to them?
When asked who built many of the ancient artifacts present in the land, the stock answer is "those who came before".
Who were they?
Did you kill them or assimilate them?
If you killed them, did you eat portions of their bodies to gain their strength and courage?
If you assimilated them, did you do it by lovingly accepting them into your tribes, or by kidnapping and warfare?
If, by DNA investigations, we can find descendants of "those who went before", are the Native American tribes willing to pay reparations?
