Zeituni Onyango, the half-sister of President Obama's late father, testified earlier this year in Boston in an asylum case that was re-opened after she illegally stayed in the United States following a 2004 deportation order.
Onyango's status as an illegal immigrant was revealed just days before Obama was elected in November 2008. Obama said he did not know his aunt was living here illegally and believes laws covering the situation should be followed.

I agree. I don't know why people want to nit pick about an old African lady being here anyway. It isn't like she is a threat to the country or something. Leave her alone and let her live her life in peace.

Why? If she is here illegally she should be shipped back out. Who she is related to shouldn't matter & If the President helps her out he's violating his oath of office, unless its ok for him to help relatives commit crimes. Maybe she knows where he was born & she blackmailed him.
