thanks for the recommendation. Menu looks appealing to us. My husband loves a good meatloaf. We will have to try it out.

Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty is still open for business on A1A at the south end of Cocoa Beach. Unlike the Vero location, it is far from the best seafood restaurant around Cocoa Beach. There are several much better options nearby although it does have a beautiful location on the Banana River.

Default it is far from the best seafood restaurant

I had the same impression, great view and decent food(good). Wouldn't use it as one of my decisions to buy a house. That's me though.

If you take affordability into consideration, you're not going to do much better. There are better restaurants in Vero also, but they come at a much higher price.

What is that supposed to mean? Oh right. Capitalism is BAD now.

IIf you didn't have capitalism, you'd be living in Cuba. Or just about any other Western country now a days.

And that's NOT what they did at the Tom's River store. They RENOVATED it and changed the theme. They didn't SELL it. It's the same owners.

What's wrong with investing capital improvements to their Tom's River store?

Have you ever owned a business? Especially a restaurant? It's NOT for the faint of heart it's a tough industry.

You read into it the wrong way. I didn't say capitalism is bad. Yes I do own a security firm. My point is they received an offer they couldn't refuse in Vero and sold it. Nothing wrong with that, it happens all the time. It's called capitalism and the good old American way. Easy does it RWS. BTW great job with doing the research for potential buyers in Vero. I say combine the dog walking with being a realtor.
