on Jan 26th at 7pm there will be a council meeting that will ultimately effect every neighborhood. A communication tower wants special exception granted to place a 150 ft tower in a residential area with also a school across from it Oak Hammock..on California, the impact this will have on the neighborhood, the homes, the families, and all the children and workers at Oak Hammock School.

There is increasing evidence of adverse health effects resulting from Radio Frequency energy emitted from these cell phone towers. We are concerned about having a potential health danger in a densely populated residential neighborhood and within X feet of an elementary school. Port Saint Lucie does have plenty of land available in industrialized areas away from children and families where these towers can more safely be located.

Aside from health issues, it is undeniable that the property values in our neighborhood will decrease substantially as a direct result of having this tower here. While you are looking toward the increased revenue to the town from the cell phone companies, the values of our homes will drop by more and will personally effect each of us in this neighborhood. This will ultimately effect all neighborhoods for it will make it acceptable for these tower people to step in anywhere and put one up.

We have over 250 signatures of students parents and homeowners that say no to this resolution.
