We are taking a New England/Canada cruise in September and are curious as to what sites to see. The mail cruise was recommended, as was touring Acadia National Park. As locals, what do you recommend and where would you take visitors? What do you consider the must see places?

I am going to miss the Sunset and those great plane landings, but DH wants to do this cruise. Since I am a Philly girl, I always have places that people should definitely see while in Philly; so, I thought someone from Portland could make better recommendations than those on a cruise.
