At one point, there was an Exxon station at NE 25th & NE Broadway. I'm not sure when that picture was taken. I remember seeing Exxon stations at various places in Oregon in the past too. When did that one disappear?

Well, I just checked Exxon site and Exxon-Mobil-Esso stations do not exist in Oregon anymore, but they do in WA.

The old Street View image that shows the Exxon station there appears to be circa summer 2007 so sometime between then and last summer (when the new imagery was taken). I seem to remember there was one on Baseline Street in Hillsboro but that's gone, too.

Wasnt there a Exxon station at one time in Gaston, OR that would post the names of people who wrote bad checks on there signs reader board for all to see. " ___________ please come pick up your bad check." LOL funny but I have not been out that way in a looooong time.

I've pulled into some pretty off the beaten places with the needle on 'empty' and filled up on whatever was available and never have I ever filled up with gasoline that failed to propel my car forward until the next time the tank was empty. Brand loyalty with respect to mayonnaise I get. Just saying.

That gas station must have gotten one too many bad checks because it's now out of business.
