Spokane is a much smaller town but is a real town with real people who smile when you walk past them in the park or on the sidewalk and say hi; and the crime is low, cost of living is low, it's a clean town with over abundance of clean beautiful parks, reasonable traffic, low low rent, cheap utilities, great schools, and the sun shines throughtout most of the winter even when it's very cold, so that makes snowy winters more livable. so if spokane seems to be a weird choice of someone who doesn't like portland, well then you too need to check our reading comprehension skills to better understand what i've posted about portland.
SCORE! Okay, now that we've hit every single one of the tropes this forum gets hung up on, we can officially retire this thread and go hijack another one. Next?

It's a little too over the top for me sometimes but I enjoy most of it. I love seeing the different Portland scenes. And the guest stars are great.

Good to hear that. I've really enjoyed the characters they've come up with.

I'm still indifferent about the show. I think Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are excellent actors, but the writers of the show have got to go. Some of the skits were pretty funny, like the one where they owned a bookstore and the one where they played hide-and-go-seek in the library.

But, most were a little lame IMHO (i.e. the one where they visit the farm to see if the chickens are treated humanely. And yes, I 'got it').

IMO Carrie Brownstein playing a dude is corny speaking of the Cacao scene.
