Hi would just like to know some suggestions, me and my girl love spicy food, nature, urban exploring, and as far as nightlife we're not in to clubs or bars, looking for something fun, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Nightlife other than clubs or bars...so presumably Portland's famous/infamous Vegan stripclub isn't on your list then? (Casa Diablo Vegan Strip Club - Forest Park - Portland, OR | Yelp) There are dozens of shows every night, but many of them are held in clubs or bars.

It's hard to go two blocks without tripping over spicy food, nature, and/or urban exploring.

One nice place for spicy food is Szechuan Chef. They actually rank everything from 0-5 stars in spiciness.

For nighttime entertainment, try one of the many Christmas plays running around town. Or visit one of the comedy clubs. Take in a movie at the Livingroom Theater.

Powell's Books is open until 11. Late night foodcarts at Cartopia (12th & Hawthorne).

Check the listings in the Willamette Week, the Oregonian's A&E, or the Portland Mercury, for actual listings on the days you'll be here.

For nature, drive out to Multnomah Falls. It's one of the tallest waterfalls in the US and is situated in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. It's only about 30-40 minutes outside the city and though "touristy", it's worth the little trip in my opinion!
