More People Moving to Oregon - Yahoo Finance

Basically "everyone is moving to Oregon." It's hard for me to word it so just click the article. Oregon even passed DC.

Well, it's just depends on how you look at it. If am owning alot of land then it is definitely good welcome news but if i am renting right now then opps the picture going to look even uglier in the future.

That urban boundary thing surely making the landlords happy and securely into the future

Discovery1, I don't understand the concept of the UGB. Isn't Portland basically quite developed all the way to East Portland and Gresham? Where is the boundary?

More people generally means more business to service them.

The problem with Portland's business "climate" is that it's more small business, and less big business. You don't hear about small business. Personally, I think it's the small business element that brings a lot of them. The opportunity to start something on their own.
