This job I am looking at offers a relocation package to any location and Portland is on my mind. The geographical location is perfect for me because I like Oceans, Mountains, and to be near big cities. I come from Tn and consider myself a liberal, but I'm not the social justice warrior type of liberal lol. In addition, my work hours would be from 445 am to 1pm. Is Portland even worth those hours?

You sound like a good fit. Those are much better hours than the swing shift. You'll have your afternoons and evenings free. What about weekends?

It really depends on whether you'll be making enough money to enjoy Portland and actually do stuff. It is not the cheapest city anymore. It is perhaps a little bit bigger than Nashville but probably a lot more expensive these days.

It's a salary base with 40k plus commission. I will have some full weekends off, but I do like beer and women lol. Are all the women extremely hippy looking?

How much do you earn in commission now and can it be maintained if you move?

There isn't a cap to my commission. I just have to complete the 5 month training and be dedicated to the job.

Visit first for about 1 week... honestly, if you're used to the southern hospitality of your current area, you're in for a shock here. Giving you the best advice I can.

I agree visit first. If you plan to move make sure you get the job first before moving.

I'm black so I don't really get southern hospitality treatment and the liberal areas of the state than the conservative parts lolz. Southern Hospitality anyway is pretty much pointless small talk.
