An escape room is a room that participants get locked in and they have 30 minutes or an hour to find clues and solve puzzles in order to free themselves.

In one version, you get trapped in a room with a zombie whose chains loosen every five minutes.

There are at least 18 escape rooms in the Portland area. They're very pricey but a real hit with the tech crowd.

Oh those. I didn't know that's what they were called. I was watching "Kate Plus Eight" one evening and her family went through on of those. It was somewhere in Pennsylvania where she lives.

If you'd really like to get rich, invent some way to permanently drive away sealions that does not violate conservation laws. Get it patented and rent it out to every marina along the coast and up the Columbia. They would pay generously.

Portland is the land of having 3-7 jobs so you can be a good Democrat and continue the bogus inflation of the gooberments job numbers. That said, these are the industries here:

Tech
Weed
Sharing economy (IE - less than minimum wage)
Service
Medical
Nike
Welfare paperwork filler outer

There are also under the table jobs such as robbing your neighbors, slanging tweak to Methican-Americans, aggressive panhandling, and holding out signs stating that you have no money yet you have a dog.
