2015, 2016 winters were wonderful. I played golf on many weekends in those years. I think we are paying for it now.

I am trying not to complain given I am a Californian😱 but this week has been a bit much. The sun breaks last week were nice but the last few days have been consistently wet. Thankfully I don't have a large dog who requires long walks.

It's been a winter to remember. And not necessarily in a good way. I think I need a vacation again to Orlando
to replenish my spirit and energy level.

It's the worst I've experienced since moving here in 2004. It just...won't...stop...

2015 and 2016 were two of the warmest, driest winters on record and shouldn't be used as a marker for anything. The summer of 2016 was the warmest summer on record (since 1895).

My Seattle friends are saying the same thing and praying the rain stops. More like begging the rain to stop in their Facebook posts.

Dry season traditional start date is July 4th - new arrivals - you don't believe it, but ask any old-timer(born/raised) here, or just google it.
That's just 4x4 weeks away, or in alternate terms, 2.3419 x 10^23 seconds since the Big Bang.

And speaking of prayer - Long John Silver used to say "God helps those who help themselves"
If you want the rain to stop, get in your car and drive 10 hours south/southwest.
Don't count on it stopping it in Portland/Seattle due to your prayers, until 07.04 that is.

PS. but then again, hope dies last, so keep on hoping...
