Not necessarily need, you can get around without one in Portland given a little bit of time without much effort. In the outlying areas it is good to have one. I know living in Lloyd I only use mine on average about once a week for groceries, and maybe a bit more to get around to the natural world.

That's all such a bunch of hogwash. Where's the guy who's keeping track of every crime committed around a car? Or at a shopping center? Or at any other place where people congregate and crime is more frequent?

Blaming it on public transportation is like blaming the sidewalk for purse snatchers.

And I must say, I especially enjoyed the first one. Who doesn't even know where "Felony Flats" is. Or maybe just borrowed it, since Light Rail doesn't run through the real one.

100% agree. Much of this bull**** I did not even see. It has to be made up just to make Portland look as bad as Detroit or something. I saw none of the **** this guy mentioned.
