There seems to be many people who read and respond to these inquiries. I haven't gotten any piece of info from residents of lake oswego. Either nobody looks at these forums from there or nobody knows what its like.
I am a down to earth, no snob! happily married 40+ professional who will move there in 3 weeks (due to husband's new job). I also have to do a big adjustment from sunny to rainy days. With no family or friends that won't be very easy.
I'd like to connect with like minded people so life would not be so lonely as starters.. Is there a community center, a foodie connection, etc. Any place to volunteer ? What can you suggest?
