Fiber is HUGE when it comes to speeds. That should be big plus for anyone that works remotely requiring internet access.

Are you wired in? I just ran a test on our speed, because we had issues with CableOne yesterday. Wired in, I have 92 Mbs. On WiFi, I only get about 18 Mbs.

I own my router so I don't pay rent to CableOne and I was getting about 65Mbs on WiFi. The router was about 6 years old so I went ahead and bought a new one with better technology (ASUS RT-AC68U or something like that) and now get the full 100Mbs on WiFi.

Unfortunately, my laptop has old technology, so while my wifi supports faster speeds, my laptop hardware is still in the dark ages.
I haven't bothered to upgrade, because reloading all of the software, data, and configuration settings is a royal pain.
