How about Desean Jackson? He held out for a bit last year and then reported to camp. Didn't get a new contract until this year. So he certainly didn't get what he wanted last year.
And how about Forte? Wasn't he threatening to hold out last year and ended up not getting paid and getting hurt. And still doesn't have a new contract.

I mentioned desean Jackson already... I would say he got what he wanted. His contract came right at the beginning of the off season. The eagles knew they weren't the same w/o him being happy. So they gave him a new contract. And they didn't have too. Matter of fact they would have gotten an extra year on his rights because he didn't report on time, but they gave it to him anyway.
And forte didn't actually hold out... He reported and got the shaft. He should have held out
The Bears offered Forte what many thought was a fair contract last year. iirc it was 16 mil guranteed. The Bears, well what some might call "busniess savvy," and other might call "stingyness" is legendary though. If Forte is holding out for CJ type money, I gurantee the Bears won't budge and he won't play at all this year.
I'd hate to see Forte miss time; I feel like he's a special back.
