From ESPN it lists the top 5 seeds in the AFC and those 5 are locked into the playoffs. KC is #5 and can not move up or down.

Then they show these scenarios as to who can get the #6 seed and play at the #3 seed.

6. Miami Dolphins (8-7, 7-4 conf, 2-3 div; vs. Jets [7-8, 2-3 div], 1 ET)
• Would clinch a playoff berth with a win + Ravens loss at the Bengals and/or Chargers loss to the Chiefs (later)
7. Baltimore Ravens (8-7, 6-5 conf, 3-2 div; at Bengals [10-5], 1 ET)
• Would clinch a playoff berth with a win + Dolphins loss to Jets and/or Chargers loss to Chiefs
• Would clinch a playoff berth with a Dolphins loss + Chargers loss + Steelers loss to the Browns
8. San Diego Chargers (8-7, 5-6 conf; vs. Chiefs [11-4], 4:25 ET)
• Would clinch a playoff berth with a win vs. the Chiefs + Dolphins loss to the Jets (earlier) + Ravens loss at the Bengals (earlier)
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-8, 5-6 conf, 3-2 div; vs. Browns [4-11], 1 ET)
• Would clinch a playoff berth with a win vs. the Browns + Dolphins loss to the Jets + Ravens loss at the Bengals + Chargers loss to the Chiefs (later)

Here is a different scenario on their website now:

Its the same contradiction.
Look at Miami 1) and 2)
Both show a Miami victory. Then reverse the other two teams in 1) and 2).
Miami wins and Baltimore wins and SD loses, then ??

BALTIMORE RAVENS
Baltimore clinches a playoff spot with:
1) BAL win + SD loss OR
2) BAL win + MIA loss OR
3) PIT loss + SD loss + MIA loss

MIAMI DOLPHINS
Miami clinches a playoff spot with:
1) MIA win + BAL loss OR
2) MIA win + SD win

PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Pittsburgh clinches a playoff spot with:
1) PIT win + BAL loss + MIA loss + SD loss

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
San Diego clinches a playoff spot with:
1) SD win + BAL loss + MIA loss

Every single source says Miami losing to Buffalo took their own destiny our of their hands. They require help. If they win and don't get that help how are the Steelers or anyone else in, since all 3 require Miami to lose?
From the scenarios you posted above. Miami. under scenario number 2. Everyone else requires losses. It's def not Pittsuburgh. If everyone wins pitt is 8-8 and everyone else in 9-7.

Miami 2) says:
Miami wins and SD wins.

Change it to Miami wins and SD loses = ?

No. If everyone wins that means that criteria is satisfied. For all the other scenarios to get in for the other teams they require losses from one or multiple numbers of the teams.
What is most interesting, is that these are all competitive games, pretty much, besides the pitt game. For all the others(fins/jets, bengals/ravens, chargers/steelers) I could see either teams winning

It looks like CBS has it stated most accurately:

The Dolphins will make the playoffs if they win, and if Ravens lose or Chargers win. Miami wins the tiebreaker if all three teams finish 9-7, but loses if it’s a two-way tie with the Ravens, because Baltimore beat the Dolphins in Week 5.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Baltimore wins and Miami wins and SD loses, then Ravens are in. (since Miami loses a 2 way tie)
* Baltimore wins and Miami wins and SD wins, then Miami is in. (since Miami wins a 3 way tie)

SD is playing KC. And SD is favored by 9.
That line is quite large but SD did win in KC a few weeks ago.
Steelers are favored by 7 over Cleveland, and Miami 7 over Jets.
Baltimore appears to have the toughest route by having to win at Cincy. Baltimore pulled out a miracle over the Bengals in Baltimore. Cincy wins this time = revenge.

Plus many SD radio stations reported to today that Reid plans to sit many KC starters, including the QB.
