The NFL has announced Bill Billichik (or however you spell it) coach of the year after "misinterpreting the rules" earlier this season. Its dumb and the NFL has no more pride than this cheating, dishonest coach. I believe the award should be given to a coach on improvement not how well they can cheat and lead there team to a paid 16-0 season, ill never believe this season or the three superbowls rings the Patriots currently hold, who knows how long Billichik has been "misinterpreting the rules" its ridculous. The players are great but there coach is horrible. Cheater!
Oh give it a rest. Even if he cheated in THAT ONE GAME then it could only be argued that they would be 15 - 1. Still the greatest football team in history.
If the NFL judges determined after their full investigation that no harm, gain or advantage was ever realized by the Patriots doing whatever some clown claims they did, then just go ahead and believe them.
Sore losers come in all shapes and sizes and that appears what we are looking at here.
I believe anytime a team goes 16-0(first team ever by the way), that the coach deserves not just coach of the year, but how about the decade. They should create an award for "NFL Coach of the Decade", and call it the BB award. I think that would show the rest of professional sports the highest honor that could be bestowed upon a coach in his/her lifetime. I could think of no other coach who deserves such an award. Is this award enough though? Along with this award should be $500,000 and their 1st round draft pick back, for its only fair the Pats have the two first rounders they had prior to the witchhunt. Well I guess to give the opposition a chance to maybe win a game from the Pats, they had to take one of the first round picks away.

personally, i think the coach of the year award should go to jeff fisher. Belllichek had all the talent to go 16-0 and a weak division. Fisher did a lot with a low amount of talent and had a very tough divison to compete in. He also had Young who is probably the worst passer in the playoffs.
Well i have a question about the whole cheating thing. If he really did nothing wrong then why the fine and what ever else happen? (cant remember did they lose a draft pick?) if it was all just a misunderstanding then why the fines and the punishment?
The witchhunt produced proof, meaning it was not a witchhunt. Belicheck cheated, period. Its a grudge issue against Mangini. He got busted, and deserved to be exposed. To bad the league was so light on his punishment.
As for the 16-0, if they don't win the Superbowl it will mean absolutely nothing other than a cool number.
The players are great, Belicheck is a great coach, although I don't like his willingness to cheat.
