11-4. Saints/Bears tonight. Yawn. What a snoozer. I'll probably take this opportunity to catch up on some Christmas shopping. My wife's B-day is Christmas Day, so I have that to tend to as well.

I didn't watch the game, but I was wrong about the Eagles. I thought they'd be OK with Sanchez. Over the years, they always seemed to play the same regardless of their QB. Whether it was McNabb, Kolb, Vick, Foles, etc. But now they're really in trouble.

As far as the opening kickoff, I found a replay online. I've never seen it before either. But the rule makes sense. If onside kicks are allowed to be recovered by the kicking team after it travels 10 yards, why shouldn't that rule apply to any kickoff?

Teams know that once a ball travels 10 yards on a kickoff, its live. Obviously Huff knew that because he scrambled up to recover the ball...

I heard on the radio that it might have been a gush of wind that pushed the ball down like that. Just dumb luck either way.

Yah. Good night to catch up on the DVR for me. Maybe go check out a local area basketball game between my alma mater (receiving votes in the top 25 Division 3 poll) vs. the #13 ranked team in division 3.

Yep. It's live on kickoffs. Just a longer onside kick basically.

Hey, anybody remember back when Bruce Arians had the Steelers offense ranked 6th in the NFL on its way to scoring over 400 points in a season?

Yeah, me neither.
