The Philadelphia Eagles will sign Tim Tebow on Monday, according to a report from Jay Glazer of Fox Sports. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the two sides began working on the framework of the deal when Tebow worked out for the Eagles in March. The deal was then finalized on Sunday allowing Tebow to join the team ahead of the start of offseason workouts.
They said Chip Kelly was either a genius or insane. Now with signing Tebow, he's hopefully given us hope he is a genius. That was one smart move. Tebow is the single most under valued player in the game.

Like I put on the Eagles thread - Kelly will have a specific use for him. Goal line situations is what comes to mind for me. Tebow and Murray on a run option play... Normally you don't do that and expose your QB - but you could do that in Tebow's case because he is not your main QB and he can handle the punishment.
I like how they word the contract negotiations as "working on a framework for a deal."
What framework would that be for a failed QB prospect that has been out of football? Tebow could not have had any leverage in this.
