Again, you're under the false assumption that the Steelers would've began the drive on their own 9 after the kickoff. Most likely they start at the 30 or no worse than 20. Also the play calling would've been different since they needed a TD and not a FG.
"Crippled" Big Ben led them to Cincy 47 in about 40 seconds, but you don't think he could've led a little further for the game winning TD? Hahahaha!
So tell me, no timeouts and there's what....22 seconds left? I don't even think he could've done a 15-yard sideline pass. His only hope was that one of his receivers gets some running room on a short pass and gets out of bounds.
Yes. 44 yards in 70 tics. Not a big time QB ratio.
Drive began at 1:23 and was :22 with first down at Cincy 47... which is 61 sec not 71. Which is GREAT clock management since all they needed was 12 yards for the game winning FG.

You're also under the false presumption that the drive would have began at the 9 yard line and that they would've called the same plays.
Since all they needed was a FG, it was a perfect clock management. All they had to get was 12 yards in 22 seconds to attempt a game winning FG.
LOL. I wouldn't want to be in that locker room right now.
Well, here's what Pacman's doing in the locker room. Posting an Instagram video about how he's mad at the refs & Steelers linebackers coach Joey Porter. "Pacman" Jones Is Mad, You Guys

44 yards and I checked ESPN NFL play-by-play in 61tics (1;23 left at 9, 22 left starting play at 47)), with Ben using 2 timeouts. W/O timeouts as would be the case if Cincy played it safe, 44 yards in 80 or more tics, and its game over at Cincy's 47 then.

Can't say I disagree with him! I'd be fuming right now.

53 yard FG on a not ideal field-low likelihood of success.

Ben's play calling was limited by injury.
A "crippled" Big Ben who had the Steelers in position to win the game with plenty of time left? And that's the guy you want to give the ball back to when you have 3 opportunities to put the game away?
No one in their right mind would agree with your strategy of kneeling.

He did not have the Steelers in position to win the game...nor with plenty of time left. And I don't think Bob is going with the strategy of kneeling, but talking about the Steelers drive AS-IS.
