It took approximately 6 seconds to run 20 yards. But you think simple plays take just as long?

LOL!
That's a run to the outside and basically untouched. Bob was talking about a straight run up the middle where the RB has to break through the line.

Gents, I have to say after watching the game last night, I was very disgusted how it ended...

putting aside who won or lost, it was just a travesty what happened.

I said Lewis needed to win this game, and in all my years watching football, this had to be there on the top 2 or 3 of games "given away". Yes, I know Big Ben coming back had something to do w/it being injured and all, but I'm talking about all the defensive penalties that gave them a shot for a field goal at the end.

Anyone think this should be the end of Lewis for not controlling his team? It ultimately comes down to him in this specific situation to handle things before they blow up. This was really bad when you reflect back.

Jack, yeah.. I'm a big believer in giving coaches several years to turn a team into a winner.. But (my opinion) Lewis has been given more than a fair opportunity. He's now 0-7 in the playoffs (which is historically bad). Every excuse has been offered up by Lewis' apologists.. the most recent & consistent one being that the fault lies more with Dalton, than Lewis. But Lewis has lost playoff games with a cast of different QBs.

True, Bengals ownership is lame, & they've enabled Lewis to become the Teflon Don of NFL coaches.. Their total franchise ineptitude was on display last night. I feel for their loyal fans..

What an end to the game, mercy those two teams. I'm 2-0 with my picks. I hate to see a game where a late penalty gives big yardage in a close game. However watching the play, it ended, another guy comes running in, dumb just plain dumb.

Wow! The Bengals imploded yet again. The Marvin Lewis discussion is an interesting one. Are the Bengals getting to the playoffs because of him or is Lewis holding them back from going further in the playoffs? This game suggests the latter because they obviously should've won. Lewis's first playoff appearance as Cincy's head coach was in 2005. There are 4 teams in the NFL (Browns, Bills, Raiders, Rams) who haven't even been in the playoffs since then. I'm sure fans of those franchises would view 7 playoff appearances in the last 11 seasons as a success and a nice problem to have. Making the playoffs that frequently is an accomplishment even if they're perennial first-round losers. However, I agree that he probably won't keep his job after this. His team played too undisciplined down the stretch.

I picked the Chiefs and Steelers, so I'm 2-0 so far. I picked Steelers over Broncos next week, but that pick is a little concerning given the status of Big Ben (who has been banged up all season) and Antonio Brown. I think both are needed at full strength to win in Denver.

Cincy was warned multiple times and knew the refs were going to be quick w the flags.

I have no sympathy for those bling the refs in this case.

If Big Ben is limited and AB can't play unfortunately think they'll get their doors blown off next week...but that is a discussion well have to monitor to see their health.

2-0 thanks to the Chiefs & Steelers.

I have no words to correctly describe that Cincy game...

So you think a play up the gut for maybe a yard takes as long as a 20 yard run?

Broncos don't really blow doors off this year. We truly dominated one game.

I was 2-0 as well but seriously picking against something called Brian Hoyer and picking the Bengals to come up small and the Steelers to pull of a big win was not exactly going out on a limb.
