You want to give Seattle credit when they were shut out in the 1st half for the first time all season (also shut out in 3rd) and Vikings missed a very makeable chip shot FG for the win? Go ahead, if it makes you feel better.

It doesn't affect me either way. I am not a fan of either team. Being shut out through 3 quarters doesn't mean a heck of a lot in a game that is 4 quarters, now does it?

So the Vikings shut out a great offensive team with a record breaking QB for 3 quarters, who needed ALL 3 fluke plays to go their way and you think they deserve all the credit?

Geez, not even Seahawks fans are this delusional.

Agreed. Wilson has the mobility and the smarts to get out of trouble, he also for a young quarterback has great field presence on the run. Lucky, perhaps but the receiver who he hit was wide open. That's what hurt the Vikes.

Defensive coordinators continually preach stripping the ball. Have three defenders on the ball carrier, with the one continuously pulling at the ball. And the other two defenders are always wanting to keep that running back on his feet. Any back who knows he's got three guys ganging up on him should immediately fall to the ground, but with two guys keeping you upright that's hard to do. The best secondaries in the league are the ones who excel at it. And I LIKE Peterson! But he was caught in a squeeze. The refs WON"T blow the ball dead because the back is still moving. And that's JUST what the d-backs want when they're picking your pocket.

They kept the game close and put themselves in a position to win. Did it take a lucky shank to seal the deal? Yes, it did. But the Seahawks outplaying the Vikings led to the Vikings needing a FG to win it, so some credit is due.

See below. A guy who has likely forgotten more about the game of football than you currently seem to know agrees with me.

A team that wins because their opponent misses a FG that they make 99% of the time doesn't deserve credit....

As for the lucky fluke plays... Wilson immediately went to the ground thinking he would be sacked but the Vikings D were late to react so he got up and made the play. I bet you couldn't name another time it happened because it's not something that happens often as you seem to believe.

Defenses go for the strip on EVERY single play... it's up to the ball carrier to PROTECT the ball. AD was carrying the ball away from his body which made it easy to strip him. Plus it was his 3rd fumble in 4 playoff games so he has a history of doing it.

I played football competitively so I know something about it.

How about we give the Seahawks credit for holding the Vikings on defense when it got in field goal range, so they had to settle for the field goal?? After the PI and completion inside the 20 they could've given up and just given up the touchdown, but they didn't.

This is why Wilson is the best QB in the NFL. He makes big plays out of nothing. It's not the first time and it's not going to be the last.
