I'm surprised the voting is so close.

Panthers should cover the spread. 24-17.

Hope it's not a blowout!!

Rooting for the broncos of course. But I honestly don't see them winning. Just don't be a tragedy like Superbowl 2014. I'm praying for it!

This is one of those superbowls where I think MOST want Denver to win...but KNOW the Panthers are going to take this one. Lets face it, the story line is sweet if the old man rides off into the sunset with this win...and as far as Cam goes...I think he will have many rings before its over regardless to this SB result. If Carolina is going to win...I want this to be over by half time so I don't have to watch a 2 point less down to the last second. They will be showing a sad P. Manning shot about 200 times on the sideline. I would rather go to the movies at that point. IF the Panthers win...we all forget about it in a year or two..If the Broncos win it will be epic. Who doesn't remember SB 32 where John Elway finally won his SB facing off against new Hall of fame QB Bret Favre that day. BTW...has Cam EVER lost in a big game? I recall him Playing my Ducks in the Natty back in 2011 and walking off a champ in that game (still bitter).

Or that awful loss again San Fran 55-10 in the early 90s.

It's the first west coast Super Bowl since Raiders/Bucs in San Diego in 2003. Arizona Super Bowls don't really count because they've generally closed the roof from the sun. But this one is going to be outdoors, starting at 3:30 local time, 73 degrees and sunny is the forecast.

It's great for a few reasons. One being that it just feels like that's how football is supposed to be played, outdoors, on grass, in the sun (or fog or rain or whatever, just in the elements). Another reason being that there is something dramatic about a game that starts in the sun but ends in the dark. The Rose Bowl game is like this as well (starting at 2:30 local time), and I've always felt that the Rose Bowl is the most aesthetically pleasing football game to watch on TV, from the sun, to the stadium, to the day/night drama...doesn't even matter who's playing. It gets more and more tense as nighttime descents. This Super Bowl will look like that as well.

Lastly, when you watch highlights/key plays from this Super Bowl several years from now (not Sportscenter highlights, more like documentary highlights/plays) you'll be able to tell what part of the game they occur in because of the lighting. If sunny, then it happened in the 1st half. Mild Darkness, then 3rd quarter, etc.
I agree, it does make the game seem more grandiose and epic, I have always thought this too. I dont like the dome games. Irony, Peyton cannot ride off into the sunset..but perhaps he can ride off into the moonlight LOL.

Can't vote. I love both quarterbacks and although I'd like to see Broncos win (due to his probable retirement) if the Panthers win, I'm OK with it.

Whoever wins, wins. But play a good, clean game. I despise watching a player hurt an opposing team player through short-sighted adrenaline.

Let go of the testosterone, and give us a great super bowl game!

I'll go with an upset. Hope it is a close game.

Denver 23, Carolina 20.

Think Carolina will actually slightly outplay Denver for most of the game, but the Broncos will create a couple turnovers late in the game with the last one producing the winning field goal kick. Know this may be a long shot for it to happen this way, but believe maybe a few Carolina players are overconfident and think they have it won already. Don't underestimate Denver and especially their defense.

Agree "on paper" the Panthers should win, but the game is played on the field. With this probably being Peyton's last game, I think some of their players will perform above their usual level.

Hope it is a good close game with no controversial calls and that the winning margin is 7 points or less (like last year's close one with New England and Seattle).
