I'm not sure they are favored anymore. The consensus going into the season is that despite bad QB play last season from the Broncos, could they really play with fire twice and expect to be favored? Well, as it turns out, so far anyway, they have good QB play which means, maybe we'll never find out if they could have done it twice.

Vegas odds are based on bettor behavior. If the Patriots are getting more bets to win the Super Bowl than the Broncos (and a quick scan of betting sites shows that they are) it's probably because people think that Tom Brady is more likely to jockey the Patriots to a title than a young and unproven QB. You may disagree, but this is not an unreasonable assumption.
Personally, I'd probably put my money on Denver right one for the following reasons:
1) They have a one-game lead on the Patriots now, and
2) Their head-to-head matchup this year is in Denver, and thus
3) If they meet in the playoffs, that game is more likely to be in Denver than in New England
Advantage: Denver
But again, it would hardly be a surprise if New England (or, for that matter, Pittsburgh) came out on top. They're all very good teams.
I'm always fascinated by fans who are so needy that they get upset when someone doesn't agree that their team is "The best!". Relax. Stop being so overly-sensitive. It's not personal.

John elway is excellent GM he put together a perfect defense,offense. Think about it manning had a terrible season,but still was effective and heck they beat the patroits with osweiler last year. Denver has put together an excellent system that patroits or any team won't stop.
Twelve games to play yet, no awards are given for the first four weeks. A pretty strong statement there isn't a team that can stop the Broncos, I'll have to wait and see.
It doesn't matter. The Vikes D has already won the superbowl.
