I'm hoping Kessler suprises everyone. I think he is smart kid, accurate, just lacks that protoypical size and arm stregth. But he remids me a little bit of Andy Dalton. Dalton doesn't necessarily have a big arm and is listed at 6'2". Kessler I think is somewhere between 6'1" and 6'2".

I see no reason to post current Manziel stuff in the Browns team thread.

Wonder if we will see him on Friday at Lambeau? I still remember him trying to play with the injury, it was awful to watch, and I finally turned the TV off.

I'll put a link to the Packer info on the game, I find the notable connections interesting. There are always many players intertwined whether it be college or the NFL, or with the coaches. I usually only do this during the regular season but I am so anxious for some football!

Packers, Browns set to square off Friday night

Here's hoping for a better result for RG3 -- and for the Browns!

Browns play tomorrow night against Green Bay and we will see how that turns out as I will sit back and relax and grab some cheese balls and watch the game while rooting for neither team.

I'm seeing the sports media's lingering, but indomitable, adulation for Griffin continues.

I was reading the wrap up on NFL.com, and Griffin's debut was described as hot and bold.. Understood, it's preseason so it's a pretty meaningless sample.. but Griffin threw a pick, botched a hand-off, and only completed half his passes. Not really hot, or bold in my opinion..

I'm rooting for Kessler. Looked like he had a rough outing. Not handling the pressure well. Multiple safeties?

Get used to it. Specifically the fumbles. 18 fumbles in 37 career games.

You get the highlight plays from him.. But then you get 5 bad reads, overthrows and the like.
