This is the first time I'm trully getting excited for the browns , unfortunately being in our ruthless division we have no shot at the playoffs this year! But things are most definetly getting better we are coached so much better , we have so much more discipline this year less penalties and defense is gettn very very good, and if we keep these players together we will be in playoffs next. Year! We even actually have depth in most positions this year ecspecially defense, ! I would also like to get feed back about this scenerio ( we all know we need a receiver more than one actually , (I was actually hoping Browns would've thrown the. Check book at Randy Moss when he left Minnesota but didn't happen but anyways in cincy I don't see T.O, and Ocho both being there next year that's a crumbling team so what would you say to having either one of them next year in a Browns uniform?? Hopefully hardesty comes back healthy with Hillis (deth) T.J, Ward should be the most feared ofall D-backs an Hayden is finally filling his shoes! The possibilities of playoffs is there just hope we stay together and healthy an make right draft picks!

Welcome to the football forum chow1332!

It still is going to take them some time, but they're heading in a positive direction for the first time in a long time.

The Cleveland Browns have selected Phil Taylor, defensive tackle out of Baylor, as their top pick in the 2011 draft.

Announcing the selection? Peyton Hillis.

I like what the Browns did in this draft...they got a big clog in for the middle of the defense in Phil Taylor from Baylor, but they really improved for the future by getting four picks from the Falcons for trading the 6th pick away...that was awesome...Get my boy Colt some receivers and in a couple of years, you guys will be at the top of the afc central

I too like the trade down since Green and Peterson were already taken. Can't go wrong with building up the line. Football is won in the trenches. Now go out and get a stud receiver for McCoy to throw to.

GO BROWNS!

6'3 220 playmaker....Browns are in great need of this. Hopefully it will counter Peyton Hillis a little bit.

Man seriously who are the Browns receivers? Cribbs and Massaqua? Ben Watson might be the best receiving threat they have. It is sad to see what happened to the Browns after being teased with that one good year back in '07 I think when they went 10-6 but missed the playoffs.
