Rodgers is 10-1 in his career without Adams. I think Raiders are gonna find out they overpaid for a WR whose stats were buoyed by an out of this world QB and not the other way around. His stats will be nowhere as good with a below avg QB like Carr.

Didn't he have almost no yards after catch as well?

Due to great routes and Rodgers placement, but I don't see how that will help much without rodgers throwing to him.

Jordy Nelson, James Jones didn't exactly thrive in Raiders offense. It might go o.k. or could be a rude awakening. Adams did buy a 12 mil house in Vegas, news broke 3/4, local press didn't think much of it!

I know this sounds naive, but if I was a star in the NFL, does it really matter if you make $50 million dollars versus $200 ? You'd need multiple lifetimes to spend all that money even making the lower end. In other words, stick with the same team even if it means a lower salary. Why? I would suspect you would have made a lot of bonds with the players, fans and even community. Any interest in money in the $$$ million$ is just pure greed and who wants to be a greedy person? Naive question? What about- it is easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than a ....?

You could see this coming, Adams was unhappy with the Packers. For any speculation, there is no way Aaron didn't know this was going to happen.
Do you know what he was unhappy about?

He was unhappy with the way the contract talks were going, broke off conversations this summer. When it came out he said, he wouldn't play on the tag, could pretty much tell it was an impasse. He wanted to be the highest paid WR in the league.

There are reports out there, Packers would pay what Raiders offered but also some saying, sure that's what the team says now but did they offer it during 2021? He wanted to leave, play with college teammate, bet back to California.

Packers will miss Davante on 3rd downs. He came up clutch so many times.

It never seems to end well when you have top players with a contract that comes up. I can see both sides. Davante knows how good he is and wants what he’s worth. Packers can’t afford to pay an MVP, #1 receiver, and a top 10 running back. With Rodgers talent, Packers probably should expect him to do more with less regarding receivers. But with Rodgers it’s all about trust and chemistry. And he’s extremely particular.

I think Adams will do fine in Las Vegas. He obviously knows how to get open and Carr has put some big numbers up. He had 700 more yards than Rodgers last year.

It will all work out, I think they'll be fine. Glad Campbell, Douglas and Tonyan are back. Defense was good last year, should be this year. New ST coach, should see improvement there. Will be fun watching how this team comes together.

Got some D Line help today, made Kenny Clark happy. Guy played for Seahawks then KC last year. He was selected in the 2nd round of the 2016 draft, he's 29, should still be o.k., played in all the games last year.

Former Clemson WRSammy Watkins is going to Green Bay to play with Aaron Rodgers and try to replace DaVante Adams. He's still fairly young, but has had a few subpar seasons in a row. The Packers still need to find a number one receiver.
